Job Description:/h3:
:Provide direct supervision, direction, support, training and backup to all loan processors;
:Provide guidance on issues that arise between origination and closing;
:Serve as processing liaison between sales management and operations to ensure clear and effective communication;
:Work collaboratively with Sales Manager, Underwriters and all other operations personnel to meet production goals;
:Oversee openers/processors responsible for preparing disclosures, ordering internal conditions, reviewing underwriting decisions, and working with loan officers/marketing assistants to gather external conditions;
:Track pipeline daily to ensure loans are on track to close on time and proactively manager any possible customer service issues;
:Create, run and distribute pipeline reports that show day:to:day activity of processing team;
:Implement work flow changes when needed to increase productivity and efficiency;
:Support the successful implementation of business or process change;
:Responsible for
developing/implementing/training processors in all areas;
:Develop and coach the Processing staff to ensure quality work and high levels of customer service with Sales and borrowers;
:Set individual goals and objectives for all Processors on a monthly basis and perform one on one meetings as needed to continually develop and improve their skills;
:Conduct weekly meetings with all Processors, and semi:annual performance reviews;
:Assist in department and corporate audits as needed;
:Continuing to act as a corporate Processor and maintaining a pipeline of loans;
:Remaining familiar with and ensuring that all loans originated by any Mortgage Loan Originator are handled/taken in accordance with the Companys policies, guidelines, quality control, applicable federal, state, and local laws, and investor guidelines;
:Ensuring that all proper documentation is prepared, kept and maintained in accordance with all applicable laws and is readily available for inspection at Companys discretion;
:Informing the Company immediately of any and all events, incidents, occurrences, complaints, lawsuits, investigations, findings or good faith concerns of illegal, improper, or unethical or other material informtion or matters concerning the Company and/or the Employee;
:Ensuring that all closed loan documents are stored in Companys document storage system and accessible to Company upon demand;
:Ensuring that any and all email communications on behalf of Company shall be sent from and directed through corporate email. Private email is not to be used for nay official Company business;
:Ensuring that all borrowers are advised of the most appropriate financing options, are not steered to products based on maximizing compensation and are only advised to close loans if there is a good faith basis to believe that the borrower will be able to re:pay the loan;
:Devoting his/her productive time, ability, and attention to the business of the Company and give his/her best efforts and skills exclusively to the business and interest of the Company during the term of his/her employment with the Company;
:Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
:High School degree, or equivalent, required. Higher degree preferred.
:Minimum 5 years Retail mortgage processing : full docs.
:Detailed knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo (preferred). Other products (i.e. CP, USDA, HELOC) preferred but not required.
:General tax returns knowledge.
:Must be proficient with the calculation of income and assets.
:Current Mortgage Loan Processing knowledge and background required.
:Read, interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures.
:Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
:Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
:Ability to solve problems.
:Encompass LOS expert level required.
:Must be MS Office proficient.
:Excellent verbal and written
