Graphic Image/GiGi New York is an established leather accessory producer located in Melville, NY. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Corporate Sales Person to grow our corporate gift business in what has become a very opportunistic time. The opportunity for employment ranges from an experienced independent rep looking to pick up a line to an in:house sales person willing to visit customers on a regular basis. Getting in front of the customer is our goal, recognizing this is a relationship:based business.
Our company possesses established brand names that that have been sold into retail markets for 40 years. Our brand is best known at retail stores like Tiffany, Barneys and Neiman Marcus. Possessing our own domestic manufacturing, the opportunity to sell made in USA is ample. Similarly, our longstanding relationships with off shore factories provide a salesperson with equal ability to sell price or prestige, along with a local manufacturing ability to hit the most challenging delivery schedule. Historically, corporate gift companies have come to us to manage their most challenging customers, from Wall Street to The White House.
We possess a seven person art department and web team to support the efforts of our salespeople. We also have an advanced internal hot stamping and personalization ability along with a significant drop ship capability.
We believe 2018 will be a year of tremendous opportunity and we are looking for an individual driven to capitalize on this. Our brands are uniquely positioned to take advantage of this.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Find new customers in both the end user market and add specialty distributors.
:Visit existing add specialty distributors to expand their businesses.
:Familiarize yourself and maintain knowledge of product lines and services to promote sales.
:Represent the company at various trade shows, conferences, and distributor events.
:Seek more of the same to expand our visibility.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
:Possession of existing corporate accounts is desired
:2 years of experience selling into this market
:Willingness to knock on doors and visit customers on a regular basis
:Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
:Associates/Bachelors degree in business/marketing or fashion merchandising or equivalent experience.
:Excellent communication and problem:solving skills.
:Confidence in selling from line sheets, look books or samples via email, phone or in person.
:Proficient computer skills (including Outlook and Microsoft Excel).
:Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
The compensation structure is flexible depending on the employment relationship : either a base salary and commission or can be commission based with a draw. We offer a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k and company paid vacation, sick personal and holidays.
