Job Description
As a Sales Representative you will assist in coverage of orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen. Carry out a sales and plan for the assigned area under the direction of the management team. Manage and track customer activity and prospective customer initiatives. Utilizes the surgery management system to ensure flawless execution of product delivery to the customer.
Business Acumen : successfully negotiates, analyzes and navigates complexities in the territory. This includes managing the accounts and products in the territory. This also includes developing strategies and tactics to help drive the sales quota.
Strong Selling Skills : Strong background of successful sales experience. Is able to build rapport, gather information, demonstrate products, answer objections, validate the customer needs and is able to pick up the business on a regular basis.
Interpersonal : Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Keeps emotions under control and is able to interact with different personalities; Remains open to others ideas and tries new things.
Oral/Written Communication : Speaks clearly and persuasively and is a positive example for the sales force. It is important to have good presentation skills.
Technical Skills : is able to look within oneself and accesses strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities to help increase these areas of improvement identified.
Customer Service : Acts as a liaison between the territories customers and BTBS. This includes owning the relationship with the customer, and growing it to build trust between the customer and BTBS.
Sense of urgency : Initiates sales strategy in the territory with the goal of being over quota. Takes action to initiate their own development, and doesnt wait for their manager to initiate.
Integrity :Supports company values and acts in an ethical manner.
Dependability : the sales rep is accountable for everything that happens in their territory. Including working with your manager and following through on management directives.
Self Motivated : Sets and achieves challenging goals, overcomes obstacles, and is very adaptable to the environment where they are competing.
Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft office applications : Word, PowerPoint, Excel and outlook are utilized regularly at BTBS.
Competitive Spirit and desire to win : this is shown by a consistent performance of being over quota.
The Sales Associate is responsible for:
:Promoting, selling, marketing and servicing products produced and manufactured by Zimmer Biomet and sold and distributed by Zimmer Biomet within a specific business territory for the following specialized areas: Trauma, Foot and Ankle, Sports Medicine. Anyone wishing to be considered should provide information detailing prior experience and established customer relationships in the specialized area of interest.
:Conducting business and providing services under the contractual agreement with Zimmer Biomet in accordance with Zimmer Biomets Code of Business Conduct, Compliance Standards for Independent Distributors, and other compliance policies prescribing good business practices.
:Complying with all mandatory training requirements established by Zimmer Biomet including training in the areas of product information, operating room etiquette, universal precautions, blood borne pathogens, sterile field preservation, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and Zimmer Biomets compliance program.
:Maintaining confidentiality of any confidential medical records or patient information to which he or she may gain access in performing services as a Zimmer Biomet independent sales representative.
:Operating in strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, and other governmental requirements.
:Adhering to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, fair dealing, and ethical conduct in all dealings with
